Los Gatos chef and entrepreneur Hannah Pham is going all in with her casual fusion concept, Hannah Noodle Bar.
After more than four years running the fine dining restaurant North, she closed the art-filled space on Santa Cruz Boulevard and opened a second Hanna down the street. The original Hannah Her Noodle Her Bar is located at the Cornerstone Her Center on Los Gatos Boulevard.
“The support from the town of Los Gatos has been…incredible. It is bittersweet to say goodbye to North, but we are proud to bring the best of Asian fusion to our customers, including North’s familiar dishes. I’m excited to deliver,” she said.
Pham, long known to Vietnamese food fans in the South Bay, previously ran Hannah’s Bistro at the North address and before that owned 19 Market in downtown San Jose for several years.
Both Hanna locations offer classic soups such as beef pho, chicken pho, wonton noodle soup, and tonkotsu pork belly ramen, as well as Saigon chicken wings and banh mi. The signature dishes, including northern cuisine, are different in the two restaurants. Saigon steak, shaken chicken and tamarind ribs are new additions to the downtown menu. Vietnamese tacos, grilled Korean short ribs, and mango papaya salad are Cornerstone’s favorites.
Details: New downtown store (155 N. Santa Cruz Ave.) is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, Cornerstone store (15960 Los Gatos Blvd.) is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Masu. www.hannanoodlebar.com
