Macau has been selected as the venue for the 7th FIA GT World Cup, which will be held from November 12th to 17th as part of the Macau Grand Prix.
The format of the GT3 sprint race at the legendary Ghia circuit will remain unchanged from last year’s event, won by Mercedes-AMG’s Raffaele Marciello, it was confirmed at Wednesday’s FIA World Motorsport Council meeting.
Once again, two 30-minute practice sessions will be held, followed by one qualifying round of the same duration.
The race will be held in two heats, with a 12-lap qualifying race followed by a 16-lap main race to decide the title.
For the second year, the FIA GT World Cup will use fully sustainable fuel, supplied by ETS Racing Fuels.
