ST. GEORGE, UTAH — To commemorate the Utah Tech Foundation’s 20 years of raising support for need-based scholarships, the Foundation will partner with Sorrente to present a concert featuring Marie Osmond and special guest Daniel Emmett.

Marie Osmond’s performance, proceeds of which will go toward need-based scholarships, is scheduled for March 22 at 7:30 a.m. at Barnes Arena on the Utah Tech campus. This unique opportunity to see Osmond perform at St. Her George’s will coincide with the sold-out 20th Annual Fire & Ice Gala, which will be held earlier that evening. The celebration has a rich tradition of providing need-based scholarships to Utah Tech students.

“The Utah Tech Foundation is extremely grateful to Marie and Daniel for their support of our students,” said Brad Rust, Utah Tech’s vice president of advancement. “Over the past 20 years, this gala has provided scholarships to thousands of students who might not have been able to pursue a college education without financial support, and we are thrilled to add a concert this year.” think.”

For more than 60 years, Osmond has entertained millions of people around the world through the medium of recording, television, Broadway, talk show host, dancer, actor, author, commercial publicist, entrepreneur, and speaker. He is a man with multiple gold and platinum sales. An artist who has achieved numerous Billboard chart-topping singles and albums.

In 2019, Osmond and his brother Donny were named Caesars Entertainment’s “No. 1 Best Show,” completing an 11-year residency in Las Vegas. Her latest release, “Unexpected,” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Classic Crossover Albums following its release in December 2021, re-entering Billboard’s Top 10 for the 29th time, and It reached number 10 on Billboard’s year-end best-selling album chart.

Over the past 20 years, funds raised by the Foundation have impacted the lives of thousands of students.

“I can’t explain how grateful I am,” Utah Tech student Madisen Marie Evans, who received the Fire & Ice scholarship, said. She said, “My struggle this year was financially and I was very worried. This award personally saved my life and I couldn’t be happier.”
