Global market research firm Focus Insights has appointed Sugandha Verma (pictured) as its new General Manager as it continues its expansion and focus on the ASEAN region. She will be based in Singapore in her new role.

Prior to his appointment, Verma served as Director of Platform Services Insights at The Coca-Cola Company. In her role, she worked with multi-functional leaders to understand and identify key business opportunities through data and insights.

In 2021, Verma briefly worked with Shiseido to provide insight into the beauty category, collaborating with brand, sales and EXCOM internal stakeholders to provide market intelligence and forecasting for the category and brand.
During her extensive career, she has also worked for companies such as Trax Retail, Nielsen NeuroFocus, and Worldpanel by Kantar.
