Martha Stewart is no stranger to controversy and raised eyebrows, but her latest Instagram post has many scratching their heads and questioning her culinary tastes.
On Wednesday, Stewart posted a photo on Instagram of a meal she ate at Maison Barnes, a newly opened dining experience attached to the upscale Café Boulud on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
The lifestyle guru ate a variety of dishes, including patties, salads, vegetables, desserts, and most notably, “roast chicken and lobster.” The combination of land and sea has upset the 82-year-old’s followers.

The first photo she posted shows a dish in which a whole chicken is placed inside a lobster to create what many of her fans have started calling “chobster.”
Naturally, this unusual photo sparked a lot of discussion, with many trying to figure out what exactly Stewart was eating and how.
“That’s Robustoros,” one commenter wrote.
“What a hell Martha,” joked another.
Stewart didn’t seem to care and didn’t think much about the appearance of the dish, barely mentioning it in the caption.

“The wine list is sophisticated and great, the service is great, and I can’t wait to come back,” she wrote casually.
According to Café Boulud’s website, Maison Barnes is “dedicated to the cultivation of French art de vivre” and features a variety of “salon-like rooms.”
The restaurant does not have a menu posted online, and Café Boulud did not immediately respond. entrepreneurwould like to comment on what exactly a “chobster” is.
