Currently, 28 projects are being implemented in Uzbekistan under public-private partnerships aimed at constructing solar, wind and hybrid power plants with a total capacity of 6.3 GW. Of this, the first capacity will be launched in 2023 within his seven projects, totaling 2.6 GW.

In particular, the power of five solar power plants in the Samarkand, Jizakh, Surkandarya, Bukhara and Qashkadarya regions, as well as a wind farm in the Navoi region, was connected to the network.

Work is underway on 12 projects to build green stations and energy storage systems in cooperation with companies from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, China, France and Switzerland.

The meeting discussed the challenges towards full completion in 2024 of the project, which started last year, and plans to create new green power generation capacity in the coming years.
