Microsoft announced the launch of two new devices designed specifically for business users: Surface Pro 10 for Business and Surface Laptop 6 for Business.
These devices are the first in the Surface lineup to be optimized for artificial intelligence (AI) and feature new Copilot keys on the keyboard for faster access to AI experiences, Microsoft said. said in a blog post on Thursday (March 21).
According to the post, the Surface Pro 10 for business is a high-performance device powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processor. This is the first Microsoft device to support his 5G connectivity on the Intel platform, allowing it to adapt to different work scenarios. The device also features a custom-designed durable anti-reflective coating for superior visibility and a new ultrawide studio camera for enhanced video calls.
Powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra H-series processors, the Surface Laptop 6 for Business is designed to be the ultimate business laptop, the post says. Includes Copilot keys that provide a great typing experience and easy access to AI features. Available in 13.5-inch and 15-inch PixelSense touchscreen displays with anti-reflection and adaptive color technology.
According to the post, both devices offer industry-leading security features and are Certified Secure Core PCs with Enhanced Sign-in Security (ESS) enabled by default. Surface Pro 10 also includes a new NFC reader for secure authentication.
According to the blog post, Microsoft’s commitment to accessibility, sustainability, security, and modern IT tools is evident in these new devices. It has built-in sustainability features, including the use of large amounts of recycled content within the enclosure, and is designed for easy maintenance and repair. According to the post, the Surface Pro 10 for Business and Surface Laptop 6 for Business will be available for pre-order starting Thursday (March 21st) and will begin shipping to customers on April 9th.
Microsoft began rolling out Copilot in September, saying the AI-powered assistant was designed to transform the way users interact with technology.
In November, it was reported that Microsoft 365 Copilot AI for business subscribers of Office apps could exceed $10 billion in annual revenue by 2026.
