ATLANTA, GA — U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff is providing historic federal funding to upgrade transportation and recreation infrastructure for Georgia families.
Today, Senator Ossoff, Rev. Raphael Warnock, and Representative Nikema Williams (GA-05) announced two federal grants for The Stitch and a new multi-use trail connecting the Atlanta Beltline and Flint River Trail. announced the money.

Senator Ossoff continues to provide resources to upgrade Georgia’s infrastructure.
Earlier this month, Sens. Ossoff and Warnock announced that Georgia will receive $122,457,266 in federal funding for transportation infrastructure across the state in fiscal year 2024, authorized by the bipartisan infrastructure law. However, that includes more than $80 million to MARTA.
In January, Sen. Ossoff announced $6,120,067 through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Charging and Refueling Infrastructure Grant Program to strengthen electric vehicle charging infrastructure in metro Atlanta.
Last December, Sen. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock passed the bipartisan Infrastructure Act to provide funding to help local governments develop and implement safety action plans aimed at improving road safety and preventing injuries to drivers and pedestrians. did.
