Women’s Fund Earns Honor

The Women’s Fund of Rhode Island has named Debra Honor as its new development director.
A nonprofit and music professional, Honor has served as HeartWalk Development Director for the American Heart Association, “Chief People Connector” for the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce, and Business Performance Advisor for Insperity. Ta.
Honor is also the founder of the Heart of Rhode Island Networking & Introduction Group, which meets monthly in Plant City, Providence.
She is a graduate of Rhode Island Leadership’s Sigma II Class of 2022.
Wilbury’s new general manager
Wilbury Theater Group has announced that Christine Treglia will be the new general manager of Wilbury Theater Group.
Treglia, who is currently Front of House Manager, will begin his new role with the organization on February 1, 2024.
Treglia joined Wilbury Theater Group as an actor in 2013, serving as Front of House Manager since the 2013/14 season, and has held the same role at FringePVD since its inaugural year in 2014. Since she joined the board in 2014, she is also a member of the fundraising committee behind Wilbury’s annual gala.
She also serves Rhode Island communities as a human services policy and systems specialist for the RI Department of Human Services.
“Christine has been a fundamental force at Wilbury since she started working here over 10 years ago. Every artist we work with, every audience member, and supporter appreciates her We appreciate the warmth and hard work that has run our front of house over the years,” said Wilbury Theater Group Artistic Director Josh Short. She has chosen to take on an even greater role in the day-to-day operations of our organization as General Manager, and we are excited to begin her work alongside her in that role. ”
New Secretary General of San Miguel
San Miguel Schools Executive Director John Wolfe announced his successor.
“As many of you know, earlier this fall I informed the board that this year would be my last year as San Miguel’s executive director,” Wolf posted on Facebook. “I am very pleased to share the news that Mel Bride, current Director of Advancement and Strategic Partnerships for the City of San Miguel, has been selected as the City of San Miguel’s next Executive Director, effective July 1.”
Wolf said the bride is a “career educator who has served as a teacher, coach, matron, department chair, service learning director, DEI coordinator, admissions interviewer, and dean of students at several independent schools in the Northeast.” It is said that
