Prime Minister builds world’s longest two-lane tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh: 10 points

1. PM Modi, who arrived in Assam yesterday, went on a jungle safari in Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve this morning. He first went on an elephant safari in the central Kohola Mountains of the park. Later, he went on a jeep safari in the same mountain range with forest officials.

4. The Sela Tunnel is an engineering marvel installed to provide all-weather connectivity to Tawang across the Sela Pass in Arunachal Pradesh. The tunnel, built at a cost of around Rs 825 million, is also of strategic importance for the country. The foundation was laid by Prime Minister Modi in 2019.

10. He will arrive in his constituency Varanasi around 7 pm and will offer prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple. He will be attending a public program in the city the next day to consecrate and lay the foundation stone of the project worth over Rs 42,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh.
