BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. — Jocelyn Chacon owns Siempre con Amor, a flower arrangement business in Brooklyn Park.
“Today we will make a bouquet of 50 roses,” said Chacon.
Rose by rose, petal by petal, Chacón is doing the job that’s right for her. She sacrifices her sleep to run her business and make Ramos Buscione, large bouquets that sometimes contain hundreds of flowers and cost hundreds of dollars.
“I couldn’t sleep last night,” she said with a laugh.
These kinds of large bouquets have started trending on TikTok in the past few years, which means Chacon’s business is blossoming. She says the largest bouquet she ever made included 150 of her flowers.
“When you get to 50, 100, your hands start to hurt…” she said.
Now a student at New York University, Chacon returns to her Brooklyn Park home every major holiday and works day and night assembling bouquets. But it’s a sacrifice she’s willing to make because Ramos Bouchonnes has a special place in her heart.
“For my dad, he would give my mom flowers every year or whenever he got the chance,” Chacon said.

Chacon, a first-generation Mexican-American, said she wants to use her business to show appreciation for the sacrifices her parents made.
“I really want to help them, I really do,” she said. “I don’t want to see them struggle. I’ve seen them struggle for a long time in their lives, so that’s what drives me forward.”
Chacon uses the money he earns from his flower business to help his mother Ofelia and help pay for college.
“She said it was a really great feeling because she was so grateful to be able to recognize not only my sacrifice but my brothers’ sacrifice,” she said.
And Chacon says she would be happy to do so.
“I understand that we are suffering and I want to help them,” she said, adding, “That makes me really happy.”
