Alfie Oakes announces lawsuit against Collier County and commissioners over mask mandate
Alfie Oakes and his attorney speak against Collier County and the mask mandate passed Tuesday during a rally at Oakes Farms Seed to Table Market on Saturday, July 25, 2020. It announced plans to file multiple lawsuits against each committee member who voted.

Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy visited Seed to Table in Naples on Monday and had a farm-fresh lunch with owner Alfie Oakes.

ATF…we tried to shut it down in 2020 during the pandemic and he absolutely said no.” writes Ramaswamy, a representative for Donald Trump, who is often mentioned as a running mate.
The visit came about after Ramaswamy heard about farmer, retailer and Republican influencer Oakes and his much-loved Naples store.
“He contacted me to ask if I could join him for lunch to see the famous Seed to Table,” said store general manager Dan St. Martin, who oversees all of Oaks’ retail operations. St. Martin was also a little disappointed that he couldn’t be there, “but we were able to say hello over FaceTime.”
As for how the visit went, he said, “I haven’t gotten any feedback from Al yet, but I know he was excited.”
“They don’t want you to hear the truth from me.”
The two of you must have had a lot to talk about. Both men, both self-made successful entrepreneurs, have been at the center of controversy.
Oakes has rejected a COVID-19 mask mandate, disparaged the Black Lives Matter movement, promoted pro-Trump local candidates to a wide range of posts from school board to fire commissioner, and lobbied Trump. He has become a polarizing but influential figure in Southwest Florida after funding two busloads of supporters. Leaving for Washington, D.C., on January 6, 2021, Oakes called it “the most peaceful and beautiful demonstration of well over 1 million people I have ever witnessed” on Facebook.
These themes are also top of mind for biotech billionaire Ramaswamy. In an ad he posted during a CNN debate earlier this month, he urged viewers to “turn this off”… They need to hear from me about the truth of what actually happened on January 6th. I don’t want it. The truth about the origins of coronavirus, the Hunter Biden laptop story, and everything else they lied to you about. ”
Seed to Table’s Instagram account shared the photo later that day and wrote, “Look who stopped by Seed to Table to see @alfieforamerica!”
