What about fuel after driving?
This is one of the best things about running long distances. After burning 2,000 to 5,000 calories, your body wants to destroy whatever is in front of it. I’ve also been known to choose where I run purely because there’s a restaurant, cafe, or pizza joint I’d like to stop at after a run (with my sincerest apologies to the places I ate while sweating).
Have you ever been confused?
frequent. I’ve lived in Melbourne most of my life and have been known to tell visitors asking for directions, “I’m not from here.” When I’m not running my usual route, you can often find me pulling out my phone and fiddling with his Google Maps with sweaty fingers.
What motivates you to run?
Whether it’s exercise, fun, mental health, beating a personal best, thinking through a challenge at work, reclaiming Strava’s “local legend” status, or taking a break from the kids… it’s worth it! is.
How can I reduce my risk of injury as I get older?

Have you ever run a marathon?

Last year I ran the Great Ocean Road Marathon in terrible weather after suffering a calf strain just over a month ago. It wasn’t the most fun. Do you travel for running? If so, where do you go?
Whenever I travel, whether for work or play, I always pack my running shoes in my bag. Although not in very exotic locations, I’ve scored some great runs on the Mornington Peninsula, including along the tracks at Cape Schanck and Bushrangers Bay.
What about traveling abroad for a running event?
My dream is to run a marathon overseas. I’ve never been to Japan, and I love things that Japan is famous for, such as 80’s pop culture, video games, whiskey, and watches, so I haven’t been paying attention to the Tokyo Marathon.

Do you have a favorite kit?
Probably every true crime podcast I listen to uses Jabra Elite Active 65t headphones. I’ve been wearing them for about 5 years now and have driven thousands of miles in them and even accidentally put them in the washing machine a few times.
Dream running buddy? The key here is who can tolerate me (and me and them) for 2, 3, or 4 hours. Therefore, the field is quite narrow.i want to say [Kenyan long-distance runner] Eliud Kipchoge, I only follow him for five minutes at most. My current running buddies are top notch. Anthony made me believe I could run a marathon. We have shared countless hours running down the pavement together.
