Samsung will unveil its first wearable smart ring during Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The South Korean mobile giant plans to publicly display the Galaxy Ring as part of its health product lineup, Bloomberg reports. Last month, the Korean mobile giant teased the device at its Unpacked event. The company didn’t reveal many details about the Galaxy Ring, saying it will include sensors and integrate with the company’s other devices, such as the Galaxy S24 smartphone announced at the San Jose event.
The company said in a statement on Sunday that the Samsung Galaxy Ring is powered by advances in AI to deliver a more personalized and seamless experience. According to a report from Bloomberg, MWC attendees will be able to witness new health features on the Galaxy Watch6 series paired with the Galaxy S24 ahead of its public release later this year. Galaxy Ring is expected to be officially launched later this year.
