For six months, the fund will be offered exclusively to private banking and wealth business clients in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
Schroders, a UK-listed company, has launched a new multi-asset income fund to be made available exclusively to HSBC Global Private Banking and Wealth clients for six months.
HSBC customers in Asia, Europe and the Middle East will have access to the fund, Schroders said in a statement.
The fund manager is offering the product to clients looking to navigate “a new era of high inflation and interest rates,” the company said. This portfolio is called Schroder ISF Dynamic Income. You will be able to hold alternative investments such as stocks, bonds, convertibles, securitized debt, insurance-related securities, and emerging market debt. Environmental and social themes are also incorporated.
The fund is managed by Remi Orpitan, head of multi-asset growth and income at Schroders, and Dorian Carel, head of multi-asset income.
“What worked for the past decade may not work for investors seeking income and capital growth in the next decade. In a world of rising inflation and interest rates, investors’ funds will have to work harder. Schroders group chief executive Peter Harrison said.
Schroders has partnered with HSBC to distribute the funds. For example, in September 2022, Schroders launched the Schroders ISF Global Sustainable Food and Water Fund in Singapore, a fund to invest in companies involved in the sustainable provision of food and water.
