Sharjah Investor Services Center (SAEED), an affiliate of Sharjah FDI Office (Investing in Sharjah), has launched the Emerging Entrepreneurs Initiative to streamline the process for entrepreneurs and innovators to launch ventures in Sharjah. Ta.
Launched in partnership with the Sharjah Youth Council and Sharjah Small and Medium Enterprises (Rwad), the initiative provides simplified licensing procedures, all necessary paperwork and processing of government transactions through SAEED.
“SAEED was founded with the core principle of integrating services to strengthen investor support. “We are expanding our reach to accommodate young entrepreneurs and innovators in the emirate’s vibrant market,” said Saif Al Suwaidi, Acting Manager of SAEED. “These emerging business leaders benefit from our customized accelerator packages, encouraging them to take advantage of Sharjah’s nurturing and dynamic environment for entrepreneurship and innovative ventures. .”
With Ruwad, entrepreneurs can benefit from a comprehensive support package tailored for startups, including funding programs, a virtual business incubator for university students, and other services. The Sharjah Youth Council supports youth awareness through workshops and educational programs.
Fatima Al Ali, Acting Chairperson of Ruwad, highlighted the Foundation’s commitment to developing and sustaining partnerships with government institutions to foster Sharjah’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He noted that through this initiative, Rwad’s team is directly interacting with entrepreneurs who are interested in joining the foundation’s membership program. The initiative has already benefited his network of 1,500 members by giving new members access to a wide range of benefits and support services.
Sheikh Issa Al Hammoudi, member of the Sharjah Youth Council, said that SAEED’s collaboration with Ruwad will support the success of investment initiatives among Sharjah’s youth, support the local economy, and at the same time address the social situation. It is fully consistent with the council’s strategic objective to overcome Obstacles faced by young innovators and entrepreneurs. The Emerging Entrepreneurs Initiative thus aims to strengthen Sharjah’s entrepreneurial spirit and stimulate local economic development.
