Elmwood Park-based Spencer Savings Bank announced Wednesday that it has hired Jesse Oliver as vice president of small business finance. Mr. Oliver will be responsible for helping oversee the bank’s small business lending division. He will participate in the introduction of new small business lending and deposit products, as well as support overall strategy development, loan sales production, strong customer experience, and team development.

Oliver is a business banking professional with nearly 20 years of experience. Prior to joining Spencer, he held various leadership positions at major financial institutions in the state. His work has focused on building strong customer relationships, managing resources, expenses, and overseeing regulatory and compliance for a major customer portfolio.
