SQREEM Technologies, a Singapore-based artificial intelligence (AI) behavioral aggregator, has acquired Melbourne-based programmatic business Trade Indy. The acquisition is part of the company’s ongoing global expansion plans.
SQREEM Technologies’ acquisition of Trade Indy creates new products and has the potential to make it one of the world’s largest AI partnership providers, the company said in a statement.

For both agencies and clients, this acquisition will enable brands to accurately identify and describe their audiences and build long-term digital relationships. This increases brand influence and promotes budget accountability.
“The acquisition of Trade Indy is significant as it also adds SQREEM to the global A-League of AI innovators,” Ian Chapman Banks, CEO of SQREEM Technologies, said in a statement.
“Nationally, Australia is currently ranked 15th out of 62 countries globally for AI adoption, which will expand global reach and relevance for early adopters such as SQREEM and Trade Indy. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to drive significant growth for our clients.”
Mark Rosenberg and James Robertson, Directors of Trade Indy, said the acquisition was an exciting move as both organizations share the same values and drive to create best-in-market technology and customer service. I think it’s a natural progression.
The acquisition will give Trade Indy exclusive access to audience segmentation and SQREEM Technologies’ global network.
“Our merger agreement with SQREEM expands the offerings of both businesses by combining our experienced managed services team with advanced cookie-less, AI-driven technology. Transitioning to SQREEM Group is an exciting growth opportunity as we continue to grow our business,” said Rosenberg.
Robertson continued, “We are thrilled that this relationship not only expands our horizons and provides us with the resources to sustain our growth, but also introduces the SQREEM platform to other agencies and brands across the region.” I’m happy,” he added.
The acquisition of Trade Indy began immediately. Currently he is integrated into the SQREEM Technologies Group stable.
SQREEM Technologies expanded to Japan before expanding to Australia. Back in February 2020, Japanese internet service provider Rakuten partnered with SQREEM Technologies to launch a joint venture, Rakuten SQREEM.
The new company will provide marketing solutions that utilize AI to Japanese companies and advertisers.
In parallel, we will combine Rakuten’s data and SQREEM’s AI behavior pattern analysis data to devise marketing solutions and enable media buying for Internet advertising through partners.
Advertisers will also be able to understand increasingly complex consumer behavior in real time, which will help them improve advertising performance and cost efficiency.
