And while startup work at each of these locations has primarily focused on designing and manufacturing affordable space and ground innovations, SpaceTIS-UAE also has innovative indigenous unmanned It has a very specific goal of developing aerial vehicle (UAV) or drone technology.
Hadalou Saleh, Founder and CEO of SpaceTIS-UAE, said: “The main challenges for UAVs in the industry that prompted the development of this product are the old needs as well as the new needs of many drone customers. “There is a lack of a versatile and durable platform that can meet the needs of many people.” “In fact, SpaceTIS-UAE has identified two major problems with existing UAVs on the market: lack of versatility and lack of high endurance. We propose to develop an innovative UAV that satisfies the lack of modular, adaptable, and replaceable components that meet the mission requirements, as well as an onboard battery charging system and fuel optimization algorithms to extend flight time and expand mission range. This is to meet durability requirements. ”
Now, before we try to understand how SpaceTIS-UAE’s technology works, we should probably understand the implications of the flaws in the current technology. First, UAVs are often constrained by battery life, which impacts range and endurance. This can be a major hurdle for applications that require long flights or long-distance operations. Another challenge faced by UAVs is maintaining reliable communication between the UAV and ground control stations. Signal interference or loss of connectivity can render the entire operation useless. And it is precisely these challenges and more that SpaceTIS-UAE hopes to counteract with its unique UAV technology.

“In terms of technology development, we have completed the design and testing of each component of the technology, we have also completed manufacturing a prototype of the technology, and a patent has already been filed,” Saleh said. “We believe that technology like ours does not currently exist in the UAE market. Our product is also more affordable than existing UAVs on the market. In addition, our UAV’s airframe is made of lightweight aluminum, has a wingspan of 3.5 meters, a duration of at least 3 hours, long-range communication (over 50 km), and a control system that is mobile. It’s a ground station.”

Therefore, SpaceTIS-UAE’s main source of revenue comes from the sale of two major UAV technologies: multirotor UAVs and fixed-wing UAVs. “Our revenue model also includes the sale of the components we develop as part of our innovative UAVs: hybrid propulsion, onboard battery charging systems, fuel optimization algorithms, and highly adaptable and interchangeable UAV components. “We have a lot of people working with us,” Saleh said. “And finally, we also offer automatic start-up systems, training and talent development, and onboard power generation systems. In the long term, SpaceTIS plans to develop multiple other space technologies and components in the UAE.” Here, It should be noted that SpaceTIS-UAE is supported in this respect by the UAE Space Agency, the apex agency tasked with shaping the UAE’s space sector and expeditions.

Currently, SpaceTIS-UAE is working to create influence within the UAE market, drawing on its experience of collaborating and collaborating with prominent global companies in the field of space technology.
