Penny Batchelor, thriller writer and co-founder of the ADCI Literary Awards, has partnered with online writing school Professional Writing Academy (PWA) to develop two courses for writers with disabilities and chronic illnesses. The scholarship was fully funded.
Writers who want to start writing fiction can sign up for PWA’s Fiction Foundation six-week introductory online course (normally £495) starting April 22. Applications will be reviewed by Batchelor and her PWA team and winners will be notified by her April 15th.
“Taking the PWA course helped me finish my first novel and get a book deal,” Batchelor said. “Since I was not physically able to attend face-to-face classes, PWA’s online learning format allowed me to make my dreams come true.
