Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis recently spoke about the viability of startups in the state, climate change and the importance of sustainability.

When we decided that we wanted to shift the entire agricultural power supply load to solar power, a new business ecosystem was born in Maharashtra. It will also create an ecosystem that will create huge employment and investment opportunities for people,” Fadnavis said at a conference as part of Mumbai Festival 2024. He also talked about how the startup ecosystem can help with sustainability issues. “Today, when we look at sustainability issues, we need to improve people’s lives, so I think the startup ecosystem has a big role to play.
