WASHINGTON, DC, February 29, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) will host the 2024 President’s and Chancellor’s HBCU Fly-in on March 6-7 in Washington, DC. This event brings together historically Black presidents and chancellors. Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Black-Based Institutions (PBIs) will join members of Congress and key government and business stakeholders to discuss legal and policy issues affecting TMCF member schools. More than 30 presidents and prime ministers are expected to attend.

Participants will meet with members of the Business Roundtable in private meetings to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing member schools and consider how they can work together to provide employment opportunities to students. . TMCF and Business Roundtable began a partnership in 2021 to invest in HBCU students and develop a diverse talent pipeline. To date, more than 50 Business Roundtable companies have partnered with TMCF through scholarship support, professional development, and internship opportunities.
