Celestyal has hired former Virgin Voyages head of international marketing activations and events Sebastien Pelisse as head of trade marketing.

In his new role, Mr Pelisse will focus on working with UK-Australia trade to increase awareness of Celestial’s brands, products, fleet, destinations, services and offers.
Perisse, who previously worked in customer service teams at EasyJet and British Airways, will report to Anna Gregori, vice president of brand, marketing, communications and customer journey.
Celestyal currently has a professional trading team of 11 people, with further recruitment planned.
The team is led by Janet Parton, Vice President of Business Development for the UK, Europe and Australia.
Mr. Pelisse said:
“In this role, I aim to support, educate and collaborate with the industry as Celestial continues its exciting growth.
“I look forward to leveraging my extensive network of contacts, knowledge of global markets and cultures, and travel knowledge to help Celestial continue to be a significant force in the cruise industry.”
Mr. Gregory highlighted Mr. Pelisse’s “passion for cruises, travel and trade,” saying:[This is] It’s the perfect combination that brings valuable customer focus and a front-line perspective on the travel industry. ”
She further added: “Seb is excited about elevating our brand with our valued trade partners. We are confident that his passion will create unmissable moments for our agent partners and deliver a refreshed Celestyal brand and direction. I look forward to seeing that reflected in what I do.”
