Zyxel and Netsia have completed the integration of Zyxel’s SDA Series Combo Whitebox OLT with Netsia’s BB Suite, resulting in a fully isolated broadband access network. This integrated solution has been tested on Türk Telekom’s live network and is now ready for deployment to all service providers worldwide. The partnership was officially announced at a contract signing ceremony held at this year’s Mobile World Congress on February 27th. The Republic of Korea also attended the signing ceremony. Netsia BB Suite provides network operators with an open, multivendor platform based on the open source SEBA project and BBF data model. Türk Telekom selected Zyxel’s Multi SDA product. It is a fully equipped all-in-one PON whitebox OLT that provides scalability, flexibility, and interoperability for Netsia BB Suite. OLT has the ability to support XGS-PON, GPON, and Combo PON technologies simultaneously and is designed to allow carriers to easily deploy new technologies that seamlessly integrate with this solution.
