The West End Children’s Fund is inviting local women to join the Claremont Auxiliary, which supports vulnerable children.
West End Auxiliary supports the Children’s Fund through a variety of fundraisers and projects, including the Seeds of Opportunity Scholarship Dinner on March 2 at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel in Pomona. The event will include a live auction and Fund-a-Cause, which provides scholarships to children through the Children’s Fund, which can be used for after-school programs, music, art and athletics, according to a news release.
The Children’s Fund is a San Bernardino-based nonprofit organization that supports agencies and nonprofits that serve children facing poverty, abuse, and neglect.
Recent activities for the West End Auxiliary include October’s Mad Hatter’s Tea. Participants donated more than 100 of her children’s books to be distributed through the San Bernardino Children’s Assessment Center. Participated in the 35th Toys Presentation Celebration for Children’s Fund. Provide crafts to foster children at the Padua Hills Holiday Spectacular in December. He made 140 fleece blankets for the Children’s Assessment Center and donated $1,030 to the center in other supplies.

Mary P. Wallace and Barbara Williams are co-chairs of the West End Auxiliary. The group’s next meeting will be held on January 25th at Granite Creek Community Church in Claremont.
