Women’s business networking group WIN celebrates relaunch with event Tuesday night

Women’s Inspired Network (WIN), An organization dedicated to connecting and empowering women business owners in the Park City area is relaunching. With a new mission, new leadership, and a renewed focus on connection and impact, WIN aims to become a significant force in the local women’s business landscape.

WIN reboot event scheduled for Tuesday Shamanic Twist in Camas promises a fascinating line-up of activities from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees can expect a wine and food presentation (TBA). The event aims to foster camaraderie through interactive exercises, allowing participants to connect and build lasting connections. The new team is eager to share ideas for the group and welcomes creative input from members. The annual membership fee for the event is $125.

In 2015, Kathleen Barlow founded WIN as a collective of women in the Park City area with a vision to co-create connection, inspiration, and growth. Recently, Barlow and her new co-director Kirsten Gunnarud investigated their existing email list and gained valuable insights. 100 women want more connections, opportunities to grow and learn new skills, and more fun experiences.

“We understand the need for an in-person community,” Barlow said. “This is a community of women in business supporting each other. Women who own their own businesses, women who work for others, women who are trying to figure out what they want to do, and even women who are retired.”

Restarted WIN will focus on:

• Diversity: WIN is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for women of all backgrounds and experiences.
• Impactful Scholarship Program: WIN will continue to raise funds for college scholarships for high school girls in the Summit County area.
• Mentorship and community.

“I think we need to come together and connect again, especially after what we’ve been through over the last four years,” Barlow said. “We need to help each other and have fun together. I believe that if we support each other, we will become stronger.”

WIN also created a 501(c)(3) — WIN For Good, to give us access to even more donors for our scholarship program.

“We rebuilt this entire organization in less than three months, which is pretty impressive,” Gunnerud said. “I was surprised at how deeply the community wanted it. I knew it was valuable, but I didn’t know the depth. I was also amazed at how deeply our local community wanted it. I also realized how dedicated I am. The more I can do from home, the bigger footprint I can impact.”

Mr. Gunnerud is the brand strategist behind the popular Las Vegas campaign “What Happens Here Stays Here” and owner of Rocket Trike. Being co-director of WIN aligns with Gunnerud’s goals for herself and her business.

“That work has led struggling towns and brands to prosperity again, because we mined to find the truth, embraced it, created alignment around it, and not just the messaging. Because we reinforced that truth in everything we do: our products, our services, our experiences,” Ganardo said. He said. “It’s been 20 years since I was introduced to the world (during the Super Bowl) and it’s gotten a lot of press. Everything I do is about finding the gold, the heart and soul of things, and making adjustments. to transform people and brands from struggle to prosperity. It’s surprisingly easy when we embrace our truth, heart and soul.”

The relaunch of the Women’s Inspired Network is a testament to the continued need for organizations that support and empower women business owners. WIN aims to make a difference in the lives of women in Park City by focusing on “Connect, Inspire, and Grow.”
