Woodmont Investment Counsel, an independent investment and asset management firm based in Nashville, announced Monday that it has named Nicole Hughes and Brian Kopinski as principals.
This addition comes after Woodmont named Grace Bennett and Lindsey Youngbauer principals in June 2023 (read) here).
The company currently employs six presidents and 15 people, including investment, wealth management, financial planning and customer service experts, according to the release.
In addition to being named principal, Mr. Hughes also serves as Woodmont’s first chief operating officer. She joined Woodmont in 2020 and leads the firm’s tax planning team as a certified public accountant.
Mr. Kopinski also joined Woodmont in 2020 from Chicago-based institutional asset management firm Harris Associates. In addition to overseeing trading operations as a member of Woodmont’s investment committee, he will also serve as the firm’s chief compliance officer.

Woodmont manages more than $1.5 billion for high-net-worth individuals and institutions.
