Stephon Sanders of York County is a young entrepreneur and recent recipient of the President’s Award.
The 18-year-old is a soft-spoken senior at York Comprehensive High School. He’s an athlete who went to college, got good grades, and has already earned his 30 college credits.

“I’m excited, but I’m also nervous. I don’t know if I’m ready,” Sanders said.
He runs Street Gamez LLC, a company he founded with help from his mother, Tiffany Autumn.
“You can play it on Nintendo Switch,” Autumn said. “There’s a TV in the room, all the new consoles, PS5, Xbox. We’ve all got VR. We’ve got a DJ booth, too.”
They renovated a school bus into the ultimate game room for a traveling party.
Sanders came up with the idea when he was looking for something fun to do for his birthday.
“We wanted to do something like that for a 13th birthday party, but we couldn’t find anything that offered a flexible experience,” Sanders said.
Sanders also volunteers to speak to young people about being an entrepreneur, which led to him receiving the President’s Volunteer Achievement Award this past weekend.
He wants other teens to know that anything is possible.
“Follow your dreams and don’t let others stop you,” he said.
Autumn said her son is a finalist for the South Carolina Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
