I find it puzzling that some people in our country continue to believe that Ukraine is fighting for democracy. That government is corrupt and more like a totalitarian government. Its leaders have no intention of accepting democracy.
We sent more than $200 billion in aid to those countries to help pay their civil servants and secure their borders. Meanwhile, our borders are wide open to illegal immigration and our citizens are being killed by fentanyl.
We need to take care of our own country before helping other countries.
