Bank of Guam is a six-time winner of the Marcom Awards, an internationally recognized competition honoring excellence in marketing and communications.
With more than 6,500 entries from around the world, Bank of Guam stood out, winning awards in several categories, according to a press release from the bank.
This year’s competition will receive entries from a variety of organizations, from large multinational corporations to individual creative professionals, and will be judged by a panel of industry veterans.
Bank of Guam has received awards for the following campaigns:
“Building back stronger every day”
This campaign will include all forms of communication from press releases, advertisements, and other products developed in response to and aftermath of Typhoon Mawar.

“A vision from the past. A plan for the future. (Looking back at 2022)”
The Bank’s annual report featuring 2022 results and events for the Bank Guam Holding Company, including Bank of Guam, Bank Guam Insurance, ASC Trust, and BG Investment Services.
The theme of this award-winning report is based on the memoir “Jesus in Little America,” written by Bank of Guam founder Jesus S. Leon Guerrero.
“Hagatna City Run & Block Party”
This communications campaign helped promote the Hagata City Run & Block Party, an event that helps raise funds for local nonprofit Guam Cancer Care.
The campaign included advertising materials, public relations, and other communications.

Launched during Super Bowl LVII, this multichannel advertising campaign was an effort to spotlight innovative local small business owners.
The campaign is a mosaic of inspiring stories, each told through a series of visual vignettes that capture what it means to be a small business owner. These entrepreneurs shared their thoughts on the challenges and successes they experienced in their own authentic words.

Guerrero said.
Bank of Guam President and CEO Joaquin PLG Cook said these wins are “a great testament to our team’s passion for developing campaigns and communications that truly connect with people.”
“These honors motivate us to continue our pursuit of excellence in brand, marketing and communications, while always striving to engage with our audiences in meaningful ways,” said Cook.
The MarCom Awards, hosted and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, is one of the oldest, largest and most respected creative competitions in the world.
Winning a MarCom Award is a prestigious honor that reflects peer recognition from the creative industry.
