HANNIBAL, Mo. — Hannibal LaGrange University President Robert Matz recently announced that William Stafrick has joined the executive team as vice president for business and finance.
“Mr. Stufflik, who has served in both the Air Force and as a dean, is a proven leader. His growing Christian faith and conservative values position him for many decades to come,” Matz said in a press release. This is a perfect fit to strengthen Hannibal Lagrange’s business and operations for many years to come.”
Mr. Stuflick comes to HLGU with extensive experience in higher education. He has served as a director and dean at several community colleges in the Midwest and Pacific Northwest since 2013. Prior to his work in higher education, he served as Workforce Development Operations Director, Iowa Veteran Congressman, and Iowa State Project Manager. US Air Force.
“I have been fortunate to have worked at HLGU as Vice President of Business and Finance for the past 23 years,” said Betty Anderson. “I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Staflick recently and am pleased to be able to pass the baton to him. He is a person with great attention to detail and great character and integrity. He will serve HLGU well in this new role.”

Ms. Stuflick has worked with faculty, administration, and students in various aspects of student life while serving as Director of Human Resources and Assistant Vice President for Business and Education in the Business and Agriculture Divisions. He has extensive experience working with economic and workforce development leaders to connect students with relevant careers that align with their academic interests.

Stuflick holds degrees in organizational management, business management, and construction management. He grew up in Lone Rock, Iowa, and joined the U.S. Air Force in 1992 as an engineering technician.
